Gary Tennant brings over 30 years of human performance improvement experience as Director of Teamwork Consulting Pty Ltd. Gary’s consulting experience is based on a solid foundation of learning program design, sales skills and leadership facilitation, consulting in diverse cultures, and line management experience in manufacturing management and human resources.

Gary has been delivering Huthwaite Sales Performance Improvement solutions since 1989 (24 years). He has worked with Huthwaite’s clients to implement comprehensive sales performance improvement initiatives that include sales skill building programs, post-training reinforcement, coaching, assessment and train-the trainer certification programs. Many of his ongoing client relationships have extended beyond 20 years.

He is a Huthwaite Master Trainer and has conducted Sales Skills, Major Account Sales Strategy, Coaching Effectiveness, Negotiations and Accreditation programs in Australia, China, Ghana, Great Britain, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Kenya, South Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, USA, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Gary has developed and delivered sales focused performance improvement programs for over 40 clients in the following industry groups: International banking services, Financial Services, IT Hardware and Software Solutions, Professional Service Firms, Educational Consultants, Engineering Consultants, Pharmaceuticals, Shipping and Transportation, Information Communications Technology, Medical Consumables and Equipment, Mining Explosives Services, Manufacturing, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, and the Energy Industry.

Gary has a Bachelor of Arts (Industrial Psychology) and has the Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. Gary was accredited to course manage Criterion-referenced Instruction, Instructional Module Development and Training Director Workshop by its creators Dr. Robert F. Mager and Mr Peter Pipe in 1989 in Arizona, USA. He is a member of the International Society for Performance Improvement -ISPI and a member of the Australian Institute of Training and Development – AITD.

Gary’s passions away from work are salt water fishing, particularly in the waters around Wilson’s Promontory, Waratah Bay, and Cape Paterson, Boxing Day Test Cricket, and AFL finals at the ‘G’. He enjoys playing with his beautiful new grand daughter Zoe, and his three adult children, going on touring holidays with his wife Helen to different parts of Australia, and bush walking with Sadie, their Tenterfield Terrier. On overseas assignments, Gary loves to immerse himself in the culture and customs of the country and people he is visiting.
