Michelle Deans Michelle’s 25-year career in the retail, wholesale and tertiary education sectors underpins her ability to work with a range of organisations on very diverse projects. A business writing professional and instructional designer, Michelle brings clarity and logic to the projects she works on, helping organisations to reach and engage with their intended audiences. Michelle is a strong advocate of Plain English principles, and works with clients to develop crystal-clear documents and communications - a critical outcome for businesses operating in an information-loaded world. Michelle also has extensive project management skills, working with stakeholders and subject matter experts to achieve results that directly impact on the performance and strategic direction of their business. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Design (RMIT) and Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing (RMIT), and is qualified in Criterion Referenced Instruction (CRI) and Information Mapping™. A passion for writing extends beyond work for Michelle, and she tries to add at least a paragraph to her long-running novel project each day. She thinks at this rate it might become a retirement project. When not glued to the keyboard or driving kids around, Michelle likes to sew, garden, box and make preserves. Based in Victoria. |
