Anna Mezger

Anna’s expertise in strategic planning, instructional design and facilitation stems from a 25-year career in human resource development in both corporate and consulting environments. Prior to establishing Strategic HR in 1996, Anna held senior roles at Lend Lease, Coles, and Accenture. She has extensive experience in the design and implementation of performance improvement and change management strategies, as well as competency-based learning solutions, team building, leadership and management development.

Anna enjoys the diversity of consulting, and is skilled in developing solutions unique to an organisation. Her approach is meticulous, practical and collaborative, with the focus always on building partnerships that will produce successful results. Along with sound strategic methodologies, Anna brings enthusiasm and passion to projects, delivering the quality outcomes her clients expect.

Anna’s experience includes:

Design, implementation and project management of large scale competency-based learning solutions for
ShColes, Kmart, Priceline (API) and Harris Farm Markets

Design and facilitation of a range of learning, leadership and management programs for clients including the
ShVictorian Government, Lend Lease, Coca Cola, UniSuper, BMW, Telstra, Australian Pharmaceutical Industries
Sh(API) and a number of other retail organisations

Facilitation of leadership development programs for BlueScope Steel

Facilitation of consultative selling programs (SPIN© Selling) for clients across Australia, New Zealand and
ShAsia. Sectors covered include financial services, large industrials, automotive, professional services, ITC
Shand consumer goods.

Anna holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Arts from the University of Melbourne and Post Graduate Diplomas in Human Resource Development (Deakin University) and Strategic HRM & Business Process Reengineering (Darden Business School, University of Virginia). She also has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and accreditations in SPIN© Sales Training and Criterion Referenced Instruction (CRI) Methodology (Course Manager).

With her busy work life, investing in precious family time is a real priority for Anna. She believes in actively seeking opportunities to enjoy life, whether that be working out with the gang at the gym, discussing a controversial book or artwork, or taking off on a hiking trip with the Gaiter Girls! Contributing is also important to Anna, and she is involved with a number of not-for-profit groups as well as club and school committees.
